| Hull Fire Department |
The Hull Fire Department in 1908 consisted of the six man bucket brigade. Today the department is a
25 man squad that is one of the best trained departments in the area. The entire squad has completed
Firefighter 1 Training, Hazmat Training and Rescue Training. In 2003, the department lowered their
Insurance Service Organization rating from a seven down to a four. The group trains every month and
also partners up with Sioux Center to fight fires. The equipment is now top of the line with 1991 and
1993 pumper trucks and a newly renovated rescue truck.
The fire department consists of the following people:
