| The Community Betterment Corporation was started in 1953. Its express purpose is to assist medical professionals in Hull by providing office space and low interest loans. The money was raised by 254 individual stockowners that bought $50.00 shares in this new corporation. In the past several years the group has played a very key role in landing the following health professionals: Ewoldt Chiropractic Mercy Medical Center Driesen Optometry Hauswald Physical Therapy Hurst Dentistry The organization has an annual meeting in July, where new board members and officers are elected.
